Q: What is your mission?
A: We are building the largest parent-led community where they can find support, resources, and partnership.
Q: How are you accomplishing this?
A: We’re launching an app that connects parents across the country. Through it, you’ll find others with similar goals and values, and you can collaborate on real-life needs like childcare, transportation, housing, and more. It’s a practical tool for building your village—together.
Q: Who do you serve?
A: Parents of all kinds. Whether you’re single or partnered, a grandparent raising grandchildren, a military spouse, or a parent-to-be—we welcome anyone actively parenting and seeking community. If you’re building a family, you belong here.
Q: What kind of support can parents expect?
A: You’ll be able to connect with others to share resources—like child care swaps, housing support, or transportation help. Parents negotiate those arrangements directly. The app also includes a growing library of local resources for both urgent needs and long-term growth, plus a community board for events, meetups, and parent-led gatherings.
Q: Is your app free?
A: Yes! The core platform is completely free. We run ads to help cover costs and will offer optional premium features. When you choose a paid plan, you’re also helping provide free access to parents who can’t afford it.
Q: What are the benefits of using the app?
A: Parents save time, reduce stress, and gain access to practical help. That means stronger families, more opportunities for work and education, and happier kids. It’s not just about convenience—it’s about thriving.
Q: What safety measures are in place?
A: We recommend meeting in public, during the day, and always using good judgment. We’re also partnering with Chekr to offer optional background checks. Parents who verify their profiles will receive a checkmark badge—but regardless of verification, it’s wise to ask questions and build trust with new connections.
Q: Can anyone join?
A: Our network is designed for parents and caregivers. Non-parents are welcome to browse, but the platform is focused on helping parents support one another. Built by parents, for parents—that’s our focus.
Q: What does it mean to be a “Family Preservation Organization?”
A: Recognizing the challenging circumstances that can lead to family separation, our organization strives to facilitate resource sharing among families in need. Our goal is to help children remain with their parents by uplifting families out of crisis situations which will set them on a path toward a better future.
Q: How did Parents Partnership begin?
A: We saw too many families fall apart simply because they lacked support. Instead of punishment, we wanted to offer partnership. Parents Partnership was created to help parents lift each other up—because when parents thrive, children do too.
Q: Who are the founders?
A: Parents Partnership was founded in 2023 by Jenny Trudeau, Megan Brown, and Alma Lacefield as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our development and branding team includes Jason Houston (Complete Web) and Drew Trudeau and Keith Fletcher (Waddy Fletch). Our diverse backgrounds—adoption, single parenthood, fostering—give us a deep understanding of what families need.
Q: What’s next for Parents Partnership?
A: We’re growing fast and planning local events across the country—family game nights, resource swap meets, kids’ activities, summer camps, and more. As our network expands, so will the opportunities to connect, both locally and globally. We’re building something bigger than just an app—we’re building a movement.
