We couldn’t be more excited to announce the launch of what we have been working so hard for! Limping along, fundraiser by fundraiser, grassroots donation by donation, we have been diligent at gearing up for the launch of our amazing network, connecting parents with parents, and building the village.
You will be able to find moms and dads like you, with similar lifestyles, outlooks on life, and in the throes of the same struggles as you. And we all know what we can achieve if we just put our heads together – we can make possibilities where none existed before. Sharing resources like childcare – what would it mean if you found someone you could share childcare with and totally eliminate your daycare bill, and the hassle of drop off, pickup, sick days, and more? What would it mean if someone watched your babies two nights a week, and you watched theirs twice, and you both took classes at the community college to work on a degree?
This is one of many scenarios one can create in a network of parents who get it. Building your village will be a personal experience, where sharing resources you have with others can mean real time, real money saved, and actually leveling up. Sometimes, just the time you have is priceless to someone else. Empowering other people lifts us up, also. We aren’t meant to parent alone – and we all know it. We are supposed to have this village…
