Damien’s Place Food Pantry

Damien’s Place is a nonprofit food pantry serving the Wareham and South Coast Massachusetts communities. Their mission is to reduce hunger and provide dignity and compassion to families in need by distributing free, nutritious food. They are open every Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. the last client has to be admitted by 11:45 AM. Families can receive shelf-stable groceries, fresh produce, meat, dairy, and bread.

During the phone call we discussed the following

  1. What qualifies someone to access your services?

    • You must live within a 25-mile radius of Wareham Massachusetts

    • Must fill out a form in person
  2. Are there any identification or documentation requirements that parents should be aware of when accessing your services?

    • The only required documentation is proof of residence, but you do not need a state issued identification. Mail with identifying name can be used as proof of residence

  3. Do you have any upcoming events, drives, or parent-focused programs that we could help promote or share with our users?
