Margie’s Haven

Margie’s Haven is a nonprofit shelter for those affected by domestic violence and abuse. Offer emergency shelter, support, and resources. Partner with other organizations (like RedRover) to ensure things like pet housing are secure until stable housing is ensured. Offer different areas of help: Support groups (for domestic abuse, rape, and sexual assault victims), assistance filling out crime victim’s reparations forms, legal advocacy, emergency shelter, prescription assistance, food/clothing, child advocacy, safety planning, crisis counseling, referral for mental health services, education on sexual exploitation/abuse, and transportation. Only serve people in Arkansas, must call for resources/services, 30 day housing unless circumstances are complicated and addressed, no limitations such as fees or employment but do encourage that families/individuals work towards employment and betterment. They are open 24/7.
