Why Our Network Matters

This week, I witnessed a sad but all-too-familiar moment online — a mom vulnerably shared her recent experience at a hospital. It was raw, personal, and clearly took courage to post. The response? One of the top comments was nasty, dismissive, and dripping in judgment: “Maybe you should keep that to yourself instead of scaring people unnecessarily.”

This is the problem with social media today. Facebook and platforms like it thrive on engagement — and too often, that means encouraging toxicity, cattiness, and shame.

That’s not who we are.

We built Parents Partnership as an alternative — a space where parents can struggle out loud, without fear. Where they can be honest and receive help, not hate. We’re not chasing likes. We’re chasing quality over quantity, every time.

If you’ve ever felt like you had to keep your parenting challenges to yourself to avoid backlash, know this: you’re welcome here.
